Our good friend, Ryan Jantzi, has started a podcast highlighting stories of how Jesus is working in, with, and through His people in our denomination and province and beyond. He has appropriately named it “Jesus Stories.” Diana and I were recently interviewed about what it means to be a church in and for the community and how you do it.

We are honoured that Ryan chose us for this episode because he sees Southeast City Church as an example of a church that is actually doing this well. We have always wanted to be a church that is a known actor and reliable partner in our community; a church that doesn’t insist on its own way, that doesn’t work alone, and that doesn’t reinvent the wheel; a church that comes alongside the good that is already happening and shores it up; a church that steps into the gaps and meets real needs; a church that catalyzes collaboration and innovation and bigger dreams; a church that if we closed our doors tomorrow, people would say, “we didn’t always agree with them, but we don’t know what we’re going to do without them.” We can genuinely say God has helped us realize this dream on many levels.

You can listen to our Jesus Story HERE or on Google, Apple, and Spotify. Thanks, Ryan!!
