God’s Scandalous Love for His Prodigal People
This past Sunday we continued in the complicated but beautiful Old Testament book of Hosea. Sometimes the prophets get a bad rap as being books that are all about doom and gloom and judgement, but they are also full of some of the most powerful expressions of God’s love for and devotion to prodigal people. This week, come hear some of the most astounding utterances from God of His scandalous love for sinners like you and me ever made. You might never be the same.
We hope this teaching helps you wherever you are on your spiritual journey.
Further Up, Further In-
Take time this week to sit in and enjoy the love of God for you. What has He forgiven you for? What sins, addictions, fears, and lies has God set you free from? What wounds has He healed? Where has He made you more like Christ? Where is He at work in your life? Where has He provided for you? Where has He comforted you and helped you? Where has He been faithful? Where has He been good? What has He taught you? Where has He blessed you with something far better than what you wanted for yourself or thought you needed? Journal what you remember and what He shows you and worship Him. Where can you love others in a similar way? Share with your family, friends, or Going Deeper Group.
