Jesus and Judas

Preacher:
Passage: John 13:1-30

The story of Judas is one of the heaviest in the Bible. How could someone who walked and talked with Jesus and saw and experienced everything He did, turn against Him? And how does Jesus respond?

Reflection-

How will you respond to Jesus' friendship?

Do you have worldly sorrow or repentance?

Do you have a Judas? Do you have Jesus' posture towards that person?

Further up, further in - Take time this week to meditate on John 13. Deeply and prayerfully contemplate Jesus' actions towards Judas, and ask yourself, Would you wash Judas' feet? Would you offer Judas bread? If yes, why? If not, why not? And if not, why would you do something other than what Jesus did? Why is that disconnect there? What do you need to do?
