Join us as we reflect on how we can walk in the fullness of what God has for us today and avoid Samson’s example of squandering God’s gifts.
Reflection: What is currently competing with my love for God as the thing that I love most? What gifts has God given me that I am squandering through selfishness or hardness of heart? Jesus says “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink.” How will I respond?
Further Up, Further In: Read Judges chapter 16 again. Are there any habitual sins or habits in your life that are actively preventing you from living into the potential that God has for you? Make time to confess these. Read Matthew 25:14-30. What does Jesus commend the good servants
for? What habits or rhythms could you build into your life this coming week that would help you to abide more deeply in Jesus?
