One of the most meaningful things we do as a church family is gather together in community to learn from Jesus and be reminded through worship, prayer, teaching, and communion of His story that we might become like Him and live like Him. All are welcome to join us no matter where you are on your spiritual journey. There is a place for you!

WHAT TO EXPECT

    • Our gatherings are about 75-90 minutes long

    • We sing, hear formative teaching from the Bible, confess and reflect and pray (privately), and take communion (everything is explained as we go along)

    • People are invited forward to receive communion. There is bread that can be dipped in juice (no alcohol) but also communion packets
    • There is a time for anyone who wants to be prayed for at the back

    • We sing a mix of newer worship songs and older hymns

    • There is no dress code. We are pretty informal

    • We have been told we are very welcoming, warm, and friendly, but you will not be put on the spot for anything

    • We offer complimentary coffee and tea

    • We always welcome donations, but no one is required to give. There is no "payment for services rendered"

    • We host a potluck-style meal together on the first Sunday of every month. Everyone is welcome, with or without a dish! No potluck in April.

    • Our building is accessible and we will try to accommodate all special needs
    • For Kids
We host a separate Children’s Church for school-aged children (4-10) and a full nursery for babies and toddlers on the first three Sundays of the month. On the off weeks, we host a Kid’s Corner with crafts and a lesson in the service and a playroom. Children are welcome in the services though. We don't mind the hustle and bustle. Please note: In April, CC/nursery will be offered on the 13th, 21st, and 28th.

All volunteers with children have been screened and trained in abuse prevention with Plan to Protect.

See you Sunday!! 4 PM at The Martin Luther Church, 933 Smyth Rd.
